The status you set is YM only. Paypal has been instructed from the start of the subscription to bill monthly for a number of months. The only way to pause a subscription to my knowledge is to cancel it. I don't think that Paypal allows for the editing for existing subscriptions. It's a bit trickier on our site, as the owner gets the emails rather than me, but when there's anything going oddly with Paypal, I make a habit of just checking once or twice a day to see if there have been new payments; if so, I pull up the member's record in YM and just confirm that the expiry date has been correctly extended and they are still &quot;active&quot;. If I fail to do so on occasion, I usually get an email from the member asking why they can't log in despite having paid up, which prompts me to go check it out and fix.
