Drop down menus in IE7 hiding behind panels

    I'm having an issue with IE7 hiding the YM drop down menus behind the panels. Just another reason why I hate and refuse to use IE however, my client insists on using it (argghhh).

    hi, this is a known error which I have been meaning to sort. silly us for using js menus. makes it a pain to debug. it's obviously a css issue. Dropdown menus and floating html elements never seem to get along well

    I will have a look later and let you know when it's sorted.

    It's been fixed for about a month in both 1.4.6 and 1.5 I believe

    Great, but I can't see where I download 1.4.6 without paying for it all over again - I already bought the developers licence. Where do I download it from?

    If you go to your YM site and look at the dashboard there is a version checker at the top which provides links to the zips you have access to.

    It's telling me...

    I don't want to install the 1.5 beta - just the 1.4.6

    Please advise

    1.5 is the same as 1.4 but with a load of extra stuff. 1.4.6 is still in beta aswell although has a known bug which si fixed in 1.5. I would recommend doing the upgrade or just wait for the stable release which won't be long now. 1.5 has gone down well actually and no bugs reported to my knowledge. If you want to email me directly then i can send you a copy of the 1.4.6 zip, otherwise use version 1.5 from the version checker.

    ok, I'm not happy - I've just done the 1.5 beta upgrade and it has NOT fixed the IE issue with the drop down menus hiding behind your dashboard panels.

    In addition, the YourMembers Text widget can NOT be edited in IE - it doesn't save ANY changes you make.

    I need an urgent resolution to this as I have a very unhappy client and I've wasted FAR too much time on this crap

    Sorry about that, I will take a look shortly for you. I use Firefox and everything works fine so maybe temporarily suggest your client uses that until we get this sorted. I shall let you know when it's sorted.
